Nigeria rising star Marvin to play for Real Madrid Castilla

Nigeria rising star Marvin to play for Real Madrid Castilla

Marvin Olawale Akinlabi Park will represent Real Madrid reserve team in the 2019/2020 season, los Blancos have confirmed via their official website. Marvin moved one step closer to becoming the first-ever Nigerian footballer to play for the Real Madrid senior team, but he will have to prove his worth on the field. The Nigeria youngster, who will be monitored by Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane in the upcoming Segunda B season, is likely to give 100% to catch Zizu’s eye, but it remains to be seen if he is capable of producing fine performances at this level.

    Marvin’s biography

Born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain on March 7, 2000, Marvin Olawale is an 18-year-old winger who is a product of Real Madrid youth academy.  Marvin’s mother is South Korean, but seeing that his father is Nigerian, he is eligible to represent both South Korea and Nigeria in international matches. Given his place of birth, the teenager can play for Spain as well.

The Nigeria starlet is considered one of the best young two-footed footballers in the world and his ability in one-on-one situations helped him make big progress at Real Madrid. Before joining Real Madrid football school, Marvin had his development at the likes of Sporting Ciudad de Palma, Tranmere Rovers, Sporting Ciudad de Palma, La Salle and Es Jonquet Penya Arrabal.

Nigeria starlet eager to write history

Marvin’s future at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu will certainly depend on his displays in the 2019/2020 season with Real Madrid Castilla. The youngster is on a quest to become the first footballer of Nigerian descent to play for los Blancos first team, but the pacey winger will have a mountain to climb if he is to turn his dream into reality.

The likes of MutiuAdepoju, Christopher Ohenhen and Derik Osede played for the Real Madrid reserve team in the bust, but the trio eventually failed to make their first-team debuts with the Spanish giants. The new Segunda B campaign kicks off on August 25, 2019, as Real Madrid Castilla take on Las Rozas at Estadio Navalcarbon. Let’s hope that his career can be as successful as the new betBonanza ambassador “The Bull”.

Zinedine Zidane’s troops travel to Galicia on Matchday 1

Speaking of Real Madrid’s first team, los Blancos take on Celta Vigo at Abanca-Balaidos this weekend in the opening match of the season. The likes of Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo and Alberto Soro joined the club in the summer transfer window, with Colombia ace James Rodriguez ending his loan spell with Bayern Munchen.

Zinedine Zidane’s men are determined to put an end to Barcelona’s dominance in La Liga and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at Os Celeste in their opener. Real Madrid are seen as favourites to beat Celta in Galicia, with LionsBet offering odds of 13/20 on los Blancos to emerge triumphant in the Abanca-Balaidos showdown.

Back Real Madrid to win La Liga title

Brazil superstar Neymar is heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and seeing that the PSG attacker is just 5/2 at William Hill to sign a deal with los Blancos, this could be a very successful season for the capital club. The club chiefs have been very active in the summer transfer window and despite the fact that Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann joined Barcelona, we believe that Zinedine Zidane’s men are going to regain the domestic trophy. You should bear in mind that Eden Hazard and Co. are 2/1 at 888sport to win the 2019/2020 La Liga title.

Real Madrid clinched their last Primera Division trophy three seasons ago when they finished the campaign three points clear of their fiercest rivals Barcelona. The 13-time European champions are after their 34th La Liga title.
