    In Turkey, Fenerbahce were away to league leaders Basaksehir. Victor Moses, a former Super Eagle, was in the starting line-up for the visitors. He played for the full 90 minutes.

    Robinho opened the scoring for the home side in the 18th minute. The game was tight for the next 65 minutes before Roberto Soldado equalized for Fener in the 73rd minute. But ten minutes later Stefano Napoleoni restored the lead for Basaksehir making the final score 2:1.

    Staying in the Turkish Super League, Ankaragucu played out a goalless draw with Bursaspor. Eagles defender Abdullahi Shehu played the full length of the game for the visitors.

    Over in Spain, Leganes played away to Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday afternoon. Kenneth Omeruo was in the back for Leganes from the kick-off.

    The referee awarded a penalty to the home side in the 50th minute. Saúl Ñíguez stepped up to take it but the goalkeeper got a hand on it for a save. However, the ball then rebounded back to Ñíguez who didn’t make a mistake this time. The game finished 1:0 to Atletico.

    In France, Monaco and Bordeaux met at the Louis II Stadium on Saturday evening. After a goalless first half, Radamel Falcao scored for the home side in the 48th minute. Samuel Kalu came in off the bench in the 61st minute for the visitors.

    The referee then awarded Bordeaux a penalty which Jimmy Briand successfully converted in the 65th minute to make the final score 1:1.

    Charleroi travelled to Antwerp to take on the home team in the Belgian First Division A, at the Bosuilstadion. Amara Baby put the home side 1:0 up in the 24th minute before Victor Osimhen equalized from the penalty spot seven minutes later. This was Osimhen’s 11th goal this year. Massimo Bruno scored in the 77th minute to earn the visitors an away victory.

    Odion Ighalo scored for his home team Shanghai Shenhua in their 2:1 home loss to Hebei China Fortune FC at the Hongkou Stadium. The visitors scored on the half-hour mark through Ayoub El Kaabi, before Ighalo equalized four minutes later. Xuesheng Dong secured the win for Hebei with a goal in the 65th minute.

    Frosinone hosted Torino on Sunday afternoon in the Italian Serie A. The home team scored the only goal of the first half through Luca Paganini. In the second half, Andrea Belotti equalized for Torino with a goal in the 56th minute. Ola Aina came in off the bench in the 69th minute to replace Lorenzo De Silvestri, just in time to assist Belotti for his second goal of the game. The final score was 2:1 to Torino.

    Back in Spain, no goals were scored in the first 93 minutes of the game between Levante and Villareal at the Ciutat de Valencia. Three minutes into the stoppage time Roberto Suarez Pier put the ball in his own net to give the Yellow Submarine an unexpected lead.

    There was still time for Samuel Chukwueze, who replaced Gerard in the 63rd minute, to make the final score 2:0 with a goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
