This is the first appearance for Iceland at a World Cup and both the players and fans are making the most of the experience. Having reached the quarter-final of the 2016 European Championship, Iceland made a name for themselves and are no longer an unknown quantity. They have a tough task to qualify from Group D. Croatia burst onto the scene as a World Cup team when they reached the semi-final of the tournament in France 20 years ago. Croatia have enjoyed a tremendous start to the tournament and defeated Nigeria comfortably 2-0 in their opening match. Even better was to come from the Croat players as they brushed aside Argentina 3-0 in their second match to qualify for the Round of 16. Croatia will come into this match full of confidence, expecting to win.

Croatia striker, Mario Mandzukic missed a glorious chance to open the scoring against Argentina and will be hoping to take any chances which come his way in this game.
